This is due to how the controller works. This includes slight differences in size. Although we will endeavour to provide the exact size the newer replacement drives are consistently smaller to allow increase in endurance and longevity of the drive. The overhead allows worn areas of the flash drive to be relocated to the none accessible areas of the drive increasing endurance. Please note all drives are blank.
